The seeds of power have not been well cultivated in The Sunflower State. A very weak charter school law, limited other choices stunts growth but a lot of on-line and virtual opportunities keep things growing. Parent power is lacking and should match the height of those beautiful sunflowers.
A small but modest improvement was made to the state’s tiny tax credit scholarship program in 2021 to be able to serve additional low income children.
