The fault lines are big in the Golden State as parents are swallowed up by the undue influence of the education blob. The affection we have for California’s people and beauty cannot be overstated but this oversize state has lost its view of the little people. Thankfully the sun hasn’t set on charters which remain one of the only hopes for parent power and many innovative school districts that have bucked the status quo to innovate.
